Paws for Ability Empowers You
with In-Home Service Dog Training
Paws for Ability is a program of Hope for Disabilities, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that gives people with disabilities that qualify under the ADA the opportunity to have their companion dogs trained to be of service in their home.
Participation is limited to people earning no more than 250% of the current federal poverty level for their region of the United States.
The human-animal bond is very special. Building upon this relationship, Paws for Ability will pair you with a professional dog trainer who will help you teach your pet dog to be of service in your home.
The Paws for Ability program operates on a discounted, sliding-scale fee basis, benefiting those who otherwise would be unable to acquire a service dog through traditional channels or hire a professional dog trainer.
We are currently looking for applicants to participate in our Paws for Ability program. Sponsors and volunteers are also welcome and needed to support our Paws for Ability clients. Interested? We'd love to hear from you! Please contact us using the form below.
